What We’re Looking For
We believe in compensating individuals with lived experience for their expertise and time. Community Advisory Council members will be our first priority for payment—before any consultant or founder compensation.
Council Member Compensation:
Quarterly stipend: $250
Annual meeting: $250
Impact report review: $250
Additional meetings or project work: $50/hour
Travel reimbursement for in-person meetings
Payment Structure: We are working with our legal and financial advisors to establish compensation mechanisms that ensure full compliance with tax regulations while being mindful of how payments may interact with various government benefit programs. We are committed to finding approaches that fairly compensate expertise without creating unintended consequences for recipients.
